Business Analyst

Position Description Business Analysts (BA's) work with domain leads, cross-functional teams, & PMs to plan & develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, & timing for new initiatives for a large-scale Customer Service and Billing Transformation. The scope of the transformation will include a new product launch for the client.

BA's will be implementing and maintaining program initiatives to adhere to organizational objectives. This will range from initiating, planning, identifying, managing, and resolving additional topics, issues, and defects. Resources will support multiple projects and issues across different platforms, and collaborate with a cross-functional team.

Your future duties and responsibilities Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives Monitor program and project teams for successful initiative completion Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders Enter Epics, Acceptance Criteria, & Features into JIRA Own work and action items to directly drive program decisions Host ad-hoc and recurring meetings to work through strategy, projects, issues, and defects Participate in Epic & Feature grooming for relevant Epics led by other business domains Validate groomed Epics and Features Serve as point of contact for technology on Sales and Retention specific questions Inventory existing and reusable work (e.g., prior building blocks/PIs for foundational enabler work), decisions, and gaps (across product, policy, design, development, research etc.) Identify key Business SMEs by domain Understand stakeholder and approval matrix to bring the right people together to drive decision making Determine operational needs by understanding business functions and support technology landscape Drive the on-time delivery of complete scope while actively managing change requests and setting expectations Provide the highest quality services possible to all external and internal clients Responsible for client satisfaction

Required Qualifications: Telecommunications & Consumer Entertainment Products knowledge Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills Excellent leadership and team development skills (including coaching and mentoring) Timely, decisive, and effective problem-solving skills Solid project management skills related to project planning and control; scope management; issue and risk management; and quality management Experience managing Telecom projects; and Telecom Project Management tools, including, but not limited to JIRA
