Job Title: Business Architect Duration: Long term Location: Dallas,TX Roles & Responsibilities: As a Business Architect focused on Blockchain Solutions, you will have the exciting opportunity to assist and shape the future of blockchain at scale solution impetrations for Fintech organizations. Solutions Architects own the overall technical design of blockchain solutions and make recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. You will lead strategic discussions to substantiate client business challenges, key value drivers, and competitive advantages. You will help shape Tavant's blockchain and digital asset ecosystem, capabilities, and solutions for blockchain technologies across banking and capital markets clients we serve. Individuals in this role would be Responsible for a variety of activities including:

  • Analyzing the client's architecture, tools, and overall tech environment to make recommendations for highest and best use as it relates to the fintech solutions being offered by Tavant.
  • Architecting, implementing, and deploying end-to-end solutions for go-to-market efforts with banking and capital markets clients using private and public blockchains
  • Leading discovery for use cases that can further customer's understanding of their business as it relates to blockchain and specific blockchain implementations
  • Leveraging the use of cloud computing, microservices and integration standards in the blockchain implementation
  • Developing POCs and pilot projects that will evaluate a specific technology's applicability, performance, and scalability
  • Helping to develop an overall blockchain ecosystem engagement strategy
  • Providing technical guidance for team members
  • Acting as a technical liaison between clients, engineering teams and offering leadership
  • Building practice competence and 'followership' across offering portfolios and the sector through leadership of client projects and firm initiatives
  • Delivering on flagship blockchain client engagements
Eligibility Requirements:
  • 7+ years technology consulting experience Knowledge of Digital Assets, Smart Contract Oracles, Inter-operability, private/permissioned blockchains and sustainability.
  • Expertise with various blockchain platforms, specifically nuances between permissioned vs. public chains Consensus mechanism functional and technical knowledge.
  • Experience building solutions on blockchain protocols (e.g. public blockchain, MainNet, Solana, Cosmos, etc.)
  • Experience with layer 2 protocols Knowledge of Ethereum development tools (i.e. Hardhat, OpenZeppelin).
  • Experience in delivering cloud-native architectures and solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, Coinbase Cloud) Understanding of how to layer blockchain network with cloud application and client UI through API streams Experience with writing/debugging and deploying Smart Contracts Experience with platform security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Understanding of the blockchain vendor landscape Demonstrated ability to develop and grow new business relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external) Substantial experience developing and delivering executive level presentations.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment and managing a virtual team Flexibility/adaptability - comfortable working with ambiguity and continually evolving priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required (where restrictions permit) Demonstrates strong value for diversity and ability to team and collaborate effectively.
Preferred: Applied Cryptography 4+1 architecture modelling Understanding of microservices design. Understanding of standardization of JSON/expected API information from participants.
