Job Descriptions : Data Transfer Analyst (Globalscape) Location : Remote Skill: GlobalScape Secure File (Data) Transfer Tool administrator Primary responsibility will be to support the onboarding, modifications and terminations of data transfers, as well as troubleshoot and resolve any incidents related to those transfer. Adapt and adjust to changing priorities both independently and in team settings. Understand GlobalScape from a data transfer perspective. Responsibilities Provide support for Globalscape EFT (Data Transfer) software version 7.4.x and higher. Setup new data transfers on the Globalscape platform. Migrate transfers from legacy data transfer solution to strategic Globalscape platform. Provide assistance with troubleshooting data exchange-related issues. Suggest improvements to our data exchange environment to increase our availability reduce our failure rate. Ensure all transfers maintain proper levels of security by enabling secure protocols and encryption end-to-end. Contribute to project work, including migrations and enhancements. Consult with clients on new or changes to existing transfers. Ability to think outside the box, take initiative, facilitate and collaborate effectively with IT & business teams. Ability to write custom scripts to perform large tasks in short periods of time. Adhere to MMC Security Policy. Maintain compliance to avoid risks of outages or compromised data. Communicate ideas and information effectively via oral and written communication to diverse audiences. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 5-8 years as a technical support in a fast pace environment. Excellent communication skill required; both written and verbal. In-depth knowledge of File Transfer Protocols. Experience in working in direct client engagements. Experience in implementing HTTPS, SFTP, FTP/S and other industry specific protocols. Experience with the following Data Transmission application: - Globalscape EFT/Gateway software - Advanced Workflow Engine (a component of Globalscape) Knowledge of FTP protocols and secure transmissions technologies. Understanding of Virtual Machines and SAN technology. Experience with Service Now/CA ServiceDesk Change Control Ticketing. Experience with Service Now Incident Reporting and Ticketing. Demonstrated knowledge of Data Exchange/Transfer. Understanding of ITIL and ISO operating principles. Scripting skills in one or more scripting languages (Perl, python and PowerShell preferred).
