If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesFrom discovery and classification of sensitive data, vulnerability assessments, data and file activity monitoring, masking, encryption, blocking to alerting and quarantining in order to protect sensitive data, IBM Security Guardium is a comprehensive data security platform that provides a full range of capabilities.As a member of the Sustaining Engineering and R&D teams, your top responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Lead technology architecture and efficient design patterns in a database security domain
Investigate comprehensive issues and identify/implement most efficient software solutions
Work with industry leading companies and consult our top customers as a trusted advisor and lab advocate
Be the go-to person in solving problems and a servant technical leader with a team-first mindset
Identify product gaps and implement enhancements in relational and noSQL database domains
Develop and update technical support enabling materials/guides
NOTE: The preferred location for this role is in Boston/Littleton, MARequired Technical and Professional ExpertiseAt least 5+ years of experience in the following:
Hands-on architect experience in relational and non-SQL database domains in both data and application space for enterprise projects
Broad experience across various technologies, frameworks and a deep knowledge in relational databases
Experienced Linux system level development and administration
Understanding how to diagnose distributed network services
In-depth understanding and experience with networking tools and TCP protocol
Demonstrated outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Java, Perl/Shell and other scripting languages
Excellent team player
