- Provide technical expertise throughout software maintenance and lifecycle to achieve project goals to the required level of quality.
- Monitor tasks, identifying risks and handling mitigation and escalations.
- Provide hands-on technical and functional input to design, maintenance, integration and testing of complex software components according to functional and technical design specifications.
- Provide feedback and suggests solutions, including operability perspective.
- Identifies areas for automation in day to day operation & Implement automation
- Follow software engineering standards, applicable software development methodologies and release processes.
- Actively participate in discussions related to products/applications/modules/team.
- Enforce quality processes (such as performing technical root cause analysis and outlining corrective action for given problems), measures them and takes corrective actions in case of variances.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Software Engineering
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs
- Experience with ELK stack (Elastic Logstash and Kibana) including visualizations, dashboards , monitoring & Performance tuning\ troubleshooting of elastic cluster
- Experience using cloud native messaging frameworks like Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins, and Agile project management tools such as Jira
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes (Specially kubtectl commands) , Docker familiar with cloud native technologies and building DevOps pipelines incorporating Kubernetes and the multitude of deployment pipeline tooling that supports it (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Helm, Harbor, Nexus Sonatype etc)
- Experience in Mobility/Wireless Line of Business in charging\billing would be a big plus
- Knowledge of Openstack platform & Cloud concepts would be a another added advantage
