If so, let's talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IBM Financial Services Cloud Community (FSCC) is a new global initiative of the IBM Cloud for Financial Services team. The FSCC will be an inclusive and large community of financial services (FS) industry members from across the FS ecosystem. The FSCC is seeking a Digital Content Manager to create, solicit and manage relevant financial services ecosystem content for this strategic global initiative. In the role of Financial Services Cloud Digital Content Manager, our ideal candidate will act as a community engagement catalyst, attracting, engaging, and energizing our global user community to post, respond and comment on the FSCC content.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Develop a Content Management Plan and execute the plan
Create content and solicit content from IBMers and community members
Identify subject matter experts (SME) and encourage SMEs to create and post content
Facilitate content sharing and posting
Provide oversight of the digital newsletter and its distribution
Collaborate with all stakeholders to engage and grow FSCC community
Heavily monitor community for issues management and elevate client concerns for resolution
Actively respond to comments and questions within 24-48 hours
Gauge success of content by actively tracking key success metrics
Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseMust possess strong writing and editing skills.
Knowledgeable of markdown for documentation writing.
Knowledgeable of GitHub Repositories.
Ability to self-publish content to online website.
Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertisePerform administration functions of online Community.
Edit written content on various subject areas, tracking everything through GitHub Enterprise.
Work hand-in-hand with stakeholders across relevant business units to gain approval on all content that is published.
Work closely with internal content creators to perfect their contributions.
Source external content creators through a variety of means.
Occasionally write content and create new content of varying lengths (and social media specific pieces) that adheres to our editorial standards.
Work with the broader editorial teams to adhere to best practices.
Package multimedia content pieces and series to maximize traffic and inspire our audience
Keep yourself current on industry trends and keep tabs on competitors' work.
Work closely editorial teams to ensure that all content that is published adheres to the highest editorial and quality standards.
Meticulous attention to detail in copyediting.
Build relationships and grow you network across IBM and the broader (external) community.
Work closely with IBM Public Cloud marketing team to help promote content.
