Contract to Hire position in Dallas TX The Director of IT is responsible for the procurement, installation, configuration, operation, provision and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to IT infrastructure. Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:• Ten or more years of system administration experience• Expert knowledge of IT systems and hardware including installation and maintenance of infrastructure IT systems• Previous experience working with small, growing, and agile organizations is highly preferred• 10+ years of escalating hands on experience in systems administration, network management, telecommunication, and support operations• 5+ years of experience managing vendor and partner relationships• 3+ years of management experience overseeing a technology group consisting of a variety of skillsets and technologies

Essential Job Functions: • Provide leadership and strategic direction of the technology platform for stability, growth, and be able to help scale the business through the use of appropriate tools• Manage cloud infrastructure services, including Azure, Office 365, Adobe, SharePoint, Meraki, and a variety of other enterprise solutions• Oversee technology vendor partnerships to ensure services are aligned with company goals and services being rendered are providing the expected value.• Develop, implement, and manage an evolving technology strategy to ensure maximum flexibility for company growth. Ensures all systems are installed, tracked, operating efficiently, and aligned with company standards.• Oversee procurement of hardware and software for corporate and field operations• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, hosting resources, systems, reviewing systems and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backup.• Oversee security operations to ensure company systems and data are protected.• Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning• Work with all other departments in the organization to ensure their technology needs are being met• Research and recommend innovative and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.• Engage with outside resources as needed to support overall technology strategy.
