This includes plan document creation and maintenance support for all Plan Sponsors that adopt TIAA sponsored plan documents, and a detailed review of externally drafted plan documents.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:The main functions of this position include the review, creation, and maintenance of plan documents and submission of Plan Change Requests to ensure proper alignment between the Adoption Agreement and TIAA Recordkeeping Systems. DCCs work independently to prepare new, restated, or amended plan documents for clients, including executing client requests and regulatory updates. Document preparation often will be completed through review and mapping of a client's prior plan document onto the TIAA sponsored document. DCCs are expected to discuss any routine plan document related issues with TIAA Relationship Managers/Client Services Consultants and/or clients. Review externally drafted 403(b), 401(a), 401(k), and 457(b) plan documents for alignment with TIAA annuity contracts, operational capabilities, and plan rules. DCCs may also be required to prepare specialty documents in addition to TIAA prototype, volume submitter, or specimen documents. Assignments require considerable judgementBasic Qualifications (Required): 5 + years of plan document/compliance experience (work with retirement plan documents in a back end setting) 5 + years of plan administration, plan design, plan provisions, and product offerings experiencePreferred Qualifications (Strongly Desired): Industry designations (i.e., CEBS or ASPPA) a plus. Goal-oriented with excellent time management skills. Previous experience working with internal business partners, clients, auditors, and consultant firms. Bachelor's degree Ability to work independently as well as develop strong relationships and collaborate with internal business partners. Strong attention to detail. Process improvement mindset.
