Student Loan Repayment
Catalyst for building relationships with EMS services/first responders, other hospitals, and the community for transports and referrals to Medical City Children’s Hospital. Responsible for patient volume growth directly to MCCH and indirectly through MCCH specialty physicians. Other essential duties include, but are not limited to: (1) routine meetings with EMS administration to discuss evolving services at MCCH; (2) maintain accurate records related to these efforts to assist with collaboration with the leadership team to plan, develop, implement and evaluate business plan strategies; (3) functions as a point of contact to ensure proper action/resolution for provider/referral source and patient issues.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with pre-hospital and hospital emergency medical services and providers.
Minimum 5 years pediatric ED experience
EMT-P preferred-State certification or National Registry
Excellent verbal and written communication in order to network with various individuals and groups regarding service provided.
Strong professional presence and demeanor
Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills.
Knowledge of EMS system, planning, coordination, development and organization of prehospital personnel.
Knowledge of regulations, policies, protocols and scope of practice of prehospital care providers.
