Job Description:Key Accountabilities.
- Managing/mentoring a team of Java web developers and leads, identifying and grooming future leaders, ensuring they are connected and motivated. Promoting culture of accountability, creating clear career paths for team members
- Working closely with the Product Team to review features, contributing to the product strategy and providing guidance to the project teams around architecture & implementation
- Providing leadership and technical skills to implement client product, develop & implement quality assurance strategy, processes and standard methodologies that improve the delivery quality
- Owning the delivery end-to-end for client projects and internal products. Identifying and managing project risks
- Ensuring team members are delivering to the coding standards, code is reviewed, well documented and versions are maintained, setup best practices & champion their adoption
- Enforcing Scrum based Agile delivery model to ensure sustainable & predictable delivery with good quality
- Managing the client communications and be the point of escalation
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project, scope and cost
- Working with HR on hiring and retaining talent. The employee retention and satisfaction is critical
- BE/BTech
- 10+ years of overall IT experience & 5+ years of managing cloud based products
- Strong executive presence and ability to work closely with senior technology and business leaders to ensure that delivery expectations are developed, managed and met
- Experience in leading teams through various stages of the SDLC including analysis, requirements engineering, architecture design, development, enhancements, testing
- Must have hands on experience of Java web development and microservices architecture
- Must have hands-on experience in creating Design and Architecture documentation that supports the business requirements and business processes, which may include: Data Model, Object & Field Definition, Wireframes, and more
- Working knowledge of Agile Scrum/XP and experience in defining detailed project scope and plans from business and technology objectives
- Interested in learning, pushing the existing boundaries and wish to drive results
- Able to work independently and assist junior team members, both with Onshore & Offshore teams
- Excellent communication and people management skills. Ability to perform work with minimal management oversight
