- Hybrid data center recovery to a major cloud provider, such as Azure or AWS
- Customer facing experience in a technical architecture and design role including pre-sales, hands on technical experience, project management and scoping experience
- Experience working on large strategic customer accounts as a technical trusted advisor
- Knowledge of core networking fundamentals as it relates to both virtual and physical networks
- IP subnetting, site to site IPsec VPN, dynamic routing (BGP, OSPF), internet connectivity.
- Experience in complex migrations to either a on-premise data center or a cloud provider
- Knowledge of cloud-based orchestration and management platforms
- VMware certifications (VCP-DV, VCP-NV, or VCAP) and relationships with VMware and related hardware and software vendors are a significant benefit.

- Track record working with virtual teams including Solution Architects, Professional Services, Implementation Engineers and Project Management
- Can create an executive cloud roadmap for a customer and deliver tangible pipeline opportunities through those future state discussions
- Can demonstrate taking the lead on multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously for large customers and finding ways to drive repeatability and innovation
- Experience in building complex cost models for design and implementation projects
- Working with sales to help qualify new opportunities, managing sales and customer expectations on what can be deliver
- Deliver a well-defined set of technical high level design documents in a timely manner
- Can produce low level designs or manage other team members and guide them to produce low level designs
- Comfortable delivering presentations and white boarding with customers at a senior level in a meeting or boardroom scenario
- Strong team player who is willing to share ideas
- Willing to actively coach others to enable more team capacity and capability
- Willing to speak up and challenge the norm bringing forward ideas on how we can improve
- Ability to lead client facing Knowledge Transfer sessions
