Overview:This role requires both proven experience with technology and outstanding personal communication and customer service skills. The candidate likes to collaborate in multicultural environments and interact with stakeholders to resolve technical issues. You should be curious and eager to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. The candidate will be expected to be able to manage, update, and provide tier 3 support for custom & 3rd Party applications built for Windows & Linux in a very fast paced environment. Success in this role requires a commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and demonstrated leadership skills. Responsibilities:The Application Administrator will be an integral part of the installation, configuration and support of a specific application.The Application Administrator will install, test, implement and optimize the application.Ensure Optimal functioning of Linux/Windows Servers & Applications.Windows server administration includes managing IIS, basic networking abilities, ability to adhere to best practices, load balancing, certificate monitoring, and general maintenance activities.Basic Linux server/user administration.SQL Server administration including the running of queries to retrieve data, and troubleshooting of performance issues.Application deployments using Azure Devops as well as automated scripts.Install all prerequisite 3rd party software (Example: OC4J, JDK, Oracle client software etc.) and configure the required software in accordance with the specifications contained in the application install documentation.Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that arise in the application systems.Perform all the required database and applications administration activities in development, test and production environments.Support GO-LIVE activities.

Requirements:Experience with other tools & technologies similar to Powershell (or other scripting languages), Rancher, Azure Devops, MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL is ideal.Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex application problems and leverage tools and resources appropriately to identify solutions that may or may not be already documented.Ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines and competing priorities.Excellent relationship management, customer service and communication skills in a variety of forms (written, live chat, conference calls, in-person.)Ability to work independently with little direct supervision and as a part of a team.Outstanding analytical and organizational abilities.Understanding of basic networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP protocols and applications.Prioritize, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve or escalate any system issues in a timely manner.Provide end user technical support across all systems and devices.Interacts closely with other departments to provide first hand feedback from customers.At least 2 years of experience in the installation, configuration and support of the database in use by the application.Good Communication skillsGood computer programming acumenAbility to analyze systems and determine how these systems can meet client needs. Education:Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) preferred in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
