Network Engineer for our Direct Client located in Dallas, TX.Qualified candidates should send their resume to Coral Wolff at Network Engineer IIIDirect HireDallas, TX (75254)Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote A Network Engineer III is a senior level position responsible for providing consultation, design and technical support for network and/or server infrastructure. This person will be a central point of contact in the analysis of data flow and technical requirements to define network and server solutions to meet projected business strategies. The individual must have a minimum of 7 years of Network/System Engineering experience and mastery level competency in at least one or more technology areas. This individual must have experience in designing and implementing enterprise class network and server solutions. Responsibilities include: design, implementation, administration, assessment, testing and troubleshooting of multiple technology areas. Current technology areas include: LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewall, Unix/Linux, Windows Server, Virtualization, SAN/Storage, Backup and Antivirus. This individual must also act as mentor and senior backup for other engineers. The Network Engineer III is expected to have excellent communication and facilitation skills in addition to strong project management skills. A Network Engineer III must be able to adapt rapidly to change and be adept at multitasking. A Network Engineer II is expected to assist with the development of other employees. The individual will be required to work various shifts and be available for 24x7 on-call coverage.The IT department responsible for managing Network infrastructure (of 2000+ devices) at all Ambulatory Surgery centers and Surgical Hospitals (350+ locations) currently comprises of 3 individuals. This added position will help the existing team improve support levels as well as help in IT projects geared towards engineering upgrades/improvements at all facilities as well as data centers.Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business or appropriate clinical field
  • Without benefit of a degree, equivalent on-the-job or technical training and progressive experience may be acceptable
  • Minimum of seven years of experience with LAN, WAN and server technologies required.
  • Experience in medical customer service environment preferred.
  • Microsoft MCSE, Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCDP and Citrix CCA preferred
  • Strong computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office platform.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Knowledge of and expertise in Microsoft Operating Systems, Unix Operating Systems, Cisco networking equipment, HP and IBM server hardware is expected.
  • Experience with SAN and Storage Management.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Ability to supervise projects to completion.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Advanced platform specific Cisco experience (Nexus 9/7/2k, Nexus OS and Catalyst IOS family, ASR/ISR, ASA) Cisco WLC, Meraki.
  • Advanced platform specific experience with Palo Alto and F5.
  • Experience managing IPAM/DNS/DHCP, WAN/SDWAN and load balancing solutions.
  • Advanced Firewall policy (port, protocol, application) IPS/IDS and
  • TCP/IP advanced
  • Familiarity with Cisco ACI
  • Certifications CCNP (Network) (Routing and Switching, Wireless, Security)
  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities through multiple tool sets (Wireshark, Splunk, Aruba Clearpass) to perform deep level packet analysis
  • Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform fundamentals
