Summary

Focuses on developing, identifying, and analyzing existing general business processes to ensure sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Applies process definition, improvement, and design methodologies to identify, analyze, and improve business processes which will improve quality, reduce costs, increase efficiencies/productivity, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Develops documentation to support analysis and improvement including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and gap/problem analysis.
  • Plans and implements quality assurance and compliance processes.
  • May support development of training and/or change management materials and activities to support new processes and procedures.
  • Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
  • Determines how new information technologies can support re-engineering business processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree- Industrial/Systems Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

Required Certifications / Licensure

  • Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) within one year of placement in position.
