Description Large Dallas law firm has an immediate need for a highly skilled Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal. This position is 100% remote, and seeks a skilled trial paralegal. If you are a motivated self-starter and standout colleague with good computer skills and ability to multitask, with a real passion for litigation, this may be the position for you. Candidates in the Dallas, Texas area may be interested in applying for this long-term contract / temporary opportunity.Responsibilities Obtain, review, and analyze discovery documents, including medical records and financial records, tax and employment records, or any other relevant information to support clients’ claims
Prepare attorneys for hearings and trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits, witness files, and identifying relevant information
Manage a docket of approximately 40 litigation cases from filing until settlement or trial
Coordinate and communicate with support services, clients, opposing law firms, and courts
Calendar, track, and meet all discovery and case management deadlines
Generate and track case status reports
Respond timely to client inquiries and requests for status
Draft responses to discovery
Prepare case management orders and non-substantive motions
Coordinate and track the exchange of documents between the firm and experts
Schedule hearings and depositions
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have excellent organizing and writing skills, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment, and work independently meeting tasks and deadlines
5+ years’ experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation
Litigation: 5 years (Required)
