This role works with client facing applications in collaboration with client service staff and involves recommendations for application optimization. Responsibilities:Define and Build Performance Test strategy for portfolio of applications that are being moved into the CloudSource appropriate performance testing tools and capabilities for the given application suiteLeverage APM tools to make Performance Engineering recommendations and to troubleshoot application performanceLead a team of vendor based Performance Testing resourcesWrite and maintain suite of performance test scripts for a given applicationExecute baseline performance tests, stress tests, load tests, and scalability testsCreate Performance Test reports, highlighting baseline vs after tests results.

At least 7 years dedicated performance engineering and performance testing experience4+ years performance testing applications hosted in the cloud (AWS, Azure, etc)Extensive experience with a wide suite of performance test tools including jMeter, Load Runner, Blazemeter.Experienced in Agile practices, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, Continuous testing.Experienced developing and presenting detailed Performance Test Analysis reportsExperienced with Azure DevOps (Boards, Test Cases, Pipelines, Code Repos)Experience leading a multi-vendor Onshore / Offshore team with Performance Testing resourcesSolid background in monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Splunk or App DynamicsAbility to plan, estimate, and coordinate multiple performance testing engagements simultaneouslyUnderstanding Testing Maturity Models and how they are applied to increase maturity of quality and IT organization to enable continuous improvement.Understanding conventional and cloud testing strategies.Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to communicate with different levels of leadershipAt least 3 years experience of knowledge with the SDLC activities expected to develop custom developed and packaged applications with exposure to all types of testing (Unit, System, Integration, Performance, Security, etc.) is required.Experience in Agile development, experience with Team Foundation Server, including entering User Stories, Bugs, Enhancements, Burndown, and working with offshore resources.Strong test management skills and a thorough understanding of testing and analysis deliverables (including UML artifacts and how they relate to the development process).Strong technology acumen and track record of hands-on implementations across multiple technologies.Experience using modern testing tools required (ex. Quality Center, Load Runner, etc.).Ability to translate technical data and concepts into actionable testing approaches. Strong background in implementing enterprise initiatives on a large scale.
