PROJECT: HCC Platform Engineering - Forge. Forge is a cloud-platform deployment and monitoring tool designed to simplify and automate the CI/CD pipeline for Optum Technology customers.Most desirable skillset:
- Kubernetes platform development. Not just administration. Specifically, Kubernetes controller development. This is not a requirement, but candidates with this skillset will be given great preference over others. This role is directly related to CI/CD tooling built on Kubernetes. At least 1 year experience in this arena.

- 1 Scrum Master
- 2 Principal Software Engineers
- 1 Senior Software Engineer
- 2 Software Engineers
- What experience will set candidates apart from one another? We are looking for very talented engineers with a broad set of skillsets. We really want individuals who have worked heavily with CI/CD, Automation, and other DevOps related skills.
- There will be a great preference for individuals looking to apply to this position that have Kubernetes development experience as well as CI/CD pipeline construction.

- 3+ Years of DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE related work experience
- 3+ Years of Development Experience (either GoLang, preferred, or Python)
- 1+ Years of Public Cloud Experience (Azure or K8's preferred)
- GitHub Fluency
- Tekton, Waypoint, Istio
- Proficiency in Python
- CI/CD tooling in general (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, etc.)
- Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, telemetry, agile and DevOps
- Health care industry experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve software
- Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality
- Design and develop reusable CICD componentry and processes
- Solve common business problems through code and automation
- Minimizing human touchpoints in complex flows and processes
