Odyssey's client based in downtown Dallas is seeking a Project Manager/Project Analyst on a long-term contract. This is a Hybrid remote and onsite environment but seeking local candidates. The successful candidate will organize various process initiatives on the Enterprise Architecture team across the IT organization and would help facilitate and organize processes/initiatives like Architecture Review Board, Application Portfolio Management, Engagement with the EPMO organization for project initiatives, and some resource/capacity planning for the architecture team.
- Would be engaging with business leaders and technology leaders
- Could be someone with consulting background for good communication polish
- Could be someone with a business analyst type background that also is excellent is
- 5+ years of experience managing application development projects (SDLC)
- Experience in project management of technology projects
- Application Portfolio Management, Enterprise Architecture or Business Architecture experience preferred
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environment running sprints
- PMP certification
- Azure DevOps / JIRA or exposure to similar tools
- Experience with geographically disbursed teams across time zones (i.e. offshore development teams)
- Directly contribute to project scope including schedule estimation, tracking and requirements analysis
- Experience in defining, designing, and implementing process improvements within IT
- Participate in Enterprise Project Management Office processes and activities including status reporting, project documentation, and process approval gates
- Experience managing project financials, with some oversight of project budgets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization/management skills
