Job Description
Eataly’s bustling marketplaces contain a variety of quick service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options.
The QSR Manager supports the efficient functioning of Eataly’s Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) department and the opening of new outlets. Reports to the General Manager ofQSR.
- Collaborates closely with the General Manager of QSR to develop, implement and monitor standard operating procedures for the QSR department
- Reviews financial information and monitors budget to ensure efficient operations
- Provides on-site support and guidance to the store'sQSR outlets
- Assists in the structuring and scheuling of QSR departments to maximize productivity and minimize costs
- Participates in the recruitment and training of QSR team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience supervising a retail and/or restaurant operations
- Experience and knowledge in coffee and coffee production
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register
