- The SAP TPM CBP-IP and BW Architect Engineer is responsible for supporting the SAP TPM implementation in the role of SAP CBP-IP BW Planning and Reporting profile from a technical standpoint. This role is viewed as an expert in SAP BW-IP CBP Planning and BW Reporting and has a good understanding of SAP reporting and application design, and SAP Architecture as a whole, including responsibilities in A4O and Lumira reports related to SAP TPM BW data.
- Design TPM solutions ensuring solution aligns with business requirements and processes and provides enterprise information consistently
- Will lead and be responsible for the SAP BW-IP architecture and delivery of the solution, including any BW Reporting needs from SAP TPM (includes oversight on A4O and Lumira reports)
- Collaborates with other Solution Engineers and Enterprise Architecture to make sure that solutions fit within enterprise context and aims for standardization of solutions across K-C's application landscape.
- Translates non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end trade promotion management solution which integrates effectively with other areas like SAP ECC – SD / Pricing / FICO, Demand Planning, Infrastructure, Platform, Security & audit / Controls
- Define technical and functional standards and ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements as well as best practices
- Partner with product teams to help on sprint planning and PI planning to manage feature and deployment roadmaps and measure and manage market adoption based on data lake implementation and milestones
- Collaborate with product vendors to influence product roadmaps and delivery of features based on agreed SLAs and pricing models
- Build relationships with internal and external service providers and support teams to ensure operating efficiency and stability
- Bachelor's degree; 10-15 years of continuous experience in software engineering, software development, solution architecture with SAP technologies.
- SAP Customer Business Planning implementation experience is a must (preferably 2-3 implementations)
- Hands on experience with implementing SAP BW-IP, as well as integrating SAP ECC with BW-IP with ABAP expertise
- Experience and understanding in designing and developing reports and dashboards
- Experience with Configuration of standard content in CBP supporting a TPM Implementation.
- Experience enhancing and change standard content in CBP to meet the needs of the business
- Experienced in the Consumer Products industry and familiar with the trade promotions management process for CPG companies
- Technical expert in troubleshooting issues and working with SAP support teams as necessary for resolution
- Understanding/Experience with promotion planning queries/CBP architecture to support the planning process
- Understanding/Experience with FSCM (and integration of TPM scope)
- Understanding/Experience with Funds and Dynamic Funds and the integration with TPM
- Understanding/Experience with Chargebacks/Prepaids and the integration with TPM
- Implementation experience of SAP TPM
- Must have familiarity with end-to-end testing for TPM and Volume planning across CRM, BW, ECC and Demand Planning and should be able to manage test planning & execution
- Brings in best practices from prior projects to make the right recommendations for the blueprint and implementation
- Guide other technical team members throughout the implementation
- Will exercise judgment along with project manager in delegating or owning key technology decisions / discussions with business and SAP
- End to End experience with Testing, Cutover, Go-Live, Hypercare, SAP Max attention services & Managed services preferably with TPM projects
- Holistic IT background, including security, infrastructure, platform, audits & analytics.
- Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment with global teams
- Good analytical, logical problem solving skills with the ability to understand new tasks quickly
- Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration at all levels
