Job Title: SAP MTD Architect

Location: Remote

Duration: 10+ Months

Job Description:
  • SAP MTD architect (SAP MM/IM/WM) and support the design and implementation of MTD capabilities in areas of Inventory management & warehouse management, inbound & outbound logistics, physical inventory and associated data
  • Responsible for work including but not limited to conducting requirement gathering sessions, performing configuration, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, smoke testing, setting up master data, conducting proof of concept demos, conducting sprint demos and trainings, managing cutover and support during hypercare
  • Manage integration work and coordinate with other workstream consultants & architects such as OTC, PTP, FTS, RTR, MDG/Data, legacy applications etc as needed
  • Prepare process flows, user stories, functional specs, interface mapping documents, configuration rationale documents, test scripts and other documentation as specified by project
  • Provide support during system upgrades and other enhancements work
  • Working with SAP OSS for any service incident tickets
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and offshore teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Timely reporting on progress of allotted tasks

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Make to Deploy space with at least 3 full life cycle implementations and multiple years working on rollouts, upgrades and support assignments
  • Strong knowledge of SAP configuration and customizations in MTD space
  • Proficient in Materials management, pick, pack, goods receipts, issues, putaway, batch management, inventory valuation, Logistics invoice verification and associated WRICEFs
  • Cross functional knowledge to handle integration points with purchasing, sales, production and forecasting areas
  • Experience working with and managing internal, offshore and 3rd party resources
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and certifications in SAP preferred but not mandatory
  • Hands on experience working on interfaces with exposure to EDI, IDOCs
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work alone with little to no guidance
  • Ability to collaborate and work with different teams, entities to achieve results
  • Strong desire to learn new things, try & iterate on them, fail fast, and focus on functionality that matters

Travel:
  • May need to travel to Plano Headquarters office (TX) based on project requirements. Currently the project operates on a remote/limited travel basis.
  • We would prefer if the candidates are local to DFW area
