Our client is currently going through one of largest platform implementation projects in the world. In the end, over 100,000,000 customers and over 280,000 employees will utilize the new, self-service platform running on AWS.

The Organization within

The role I question will join their Global Compute Services organization which is responsible for architecting scalable, secure application and automation platforms. They are

developing Automation solutions to quickly allow our developers, systems engineers to code, test and deploy configuration management solutions to production through

IaC pipelines, APIs.

Where you come into play

You will be part of a team building a seamless experience that allows our teams to develop on any platform without worrying about the underlying infrastructure or its integrations; playing a crucial role in defining automation, infrastructure and security standards for the organization .

the Senior Ansible Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide consultative, architectural, and engineering support for our customer's automation journey.

The Nuts and Bolts

The specific functions for the position include but are not limited to:

Architect and engineer the infrastructure and configuration of automation platforms with a very strong focus on infrastructure as code
Help in establishing DevOps model and driving solution architecture and best practices
Partner with development and operations teams to facilitate practical automation solutions and custom modules

The required skills include but are not limited to:

4+ years of experience in DevOps, Software Configuration, Build, Deployment, Release Management and Infrastructure Design is required
4+ years of Experience in scripting or programming languages (Ruby, Perl, Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
Expert level understanding in Unix Operating systems is required
Specialist knowledge of CI/CD systems like Jenkins or Harness is required
Deliver transformative solution such as tower as a service using Redhat, Ansible
