Job Title: Senior Automation Test Engineer / QA Job Location: Dallas TX, USA Job Duration: Full Time Job Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be defining QA process and Automation Tools for End to end testing of Banking Platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development and operation of the testing architecture for both our team's infrastructure and business applications. For all aspects of testing (unit, integration, security, performance etc.) and all technologies in use, you will provide the tools, guidance and oversight to the engineering team to ensure that their testing is performed adequately and efficiently. This is a technical leadership role requiring hands on design and development alongside the leadership responsibility for other dedicated test engineers. Roles and Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible identifying bottlenecks and areas of improving Tester experience
- Collect data and publish reports which helps teams identify testing gaps and improve test efficiency
- Develop automated end to end tests to validate end to end business flows
- Provide automation expertise to project team and troubleshoot automation issues
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipeline
- Contribute to overall automation framework design and enhancement
- Be part of the development and maintenance of home grown Performance testing tool
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the software development/testing space
- Bachelors or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, Locust
- Experience with backend testing using Kafka and any other related Messaging system.
- Knowledge of major programming languages e.g. Java, JavaScript and or Python
- Knowledge of Application Monitoring and distributed tracing using tools like Datadog, xRay and Grafana
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, written and orally, to colleagues across diverse teams and geographies.
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management tools in a DevOps environment.
- Experience with JIRA or other project management, issue-tracking or bugtracking tools
- Experience in Test management tools like Zephyr
- Ability to reason about performance, security, and process interactions in complex distributed systems.
- Prior experience with working on high availability, mission critical systems
