As a part of this team, you will have the unique opportunity to be a part of driving IBM’s ongoing transformation as a company that continuously innovates and leads the market.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesINTRODUCTIONIBM’s Intelligent Connected Operations Center of Competence (CoC) is a global team of industry and technology experts that works to accelerate sales, deliver client engagements, and build IBM’s eminence around the industries.CoC consultants are part of the global intelligent operations leadership team, and work face-to-face with clients to address their business, operations, and technology challenges as they reinvent to become a Cognitive Enterprises.We are seeking visionary industry professionals with a high degree of passion, intellectual curiosity, and deep hands-on expertise with the following areas:Digital Business and Operations TransformationIntelligent Manufacturing & Industry 4.0IoT and Edge ComputingRESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Development: Identifying, qualifying. solutioning, and/or closing transformational projects involving connected operations focused in the industry 4.0 transformation of the clients.Roles can range from initial client meetings to developing proposals, and/or preparing contracts or Statements of Work (SOWs).Project Delivery: Performing a leadership role on client projects, including leading individual workstreams, creating and/or reviewing project deliverables; conducting work sessions with client senior executives; and identifying follow-on engagements.Problem Solving: Recognize problems related to project objectives. Creativity and judgment applied to professional technical, or operational problems. Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge. Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance andimprove or develop complementary adjustments /solutions.Client Visioning: Planning, scoping, and conducting client workshops to discuss their business / operational issues, share IBM Points of View (PoVs) and solutions, and identify specific opportunities to be pursued.Relationship Management: Developing and managing internal IBM and external / industry senior executive relationships; demonstrating an executive presence with the ability to establish credibility from the first meeting.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseAt least 7 years of experience working with Digital Business Transformation across different industries.

At least 7 years of consulting experience, preferably at a large consulting firm, with hands-on experience in pre-sales and delivery of large-scale business, operations, and/or technology transformation projects.

Strong experience working with Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Experience and strong knowledge of intelligent connected operations practices such as IoT and Edge Computing

Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and enterprise Design Thinking practices

A passion to “go deep” on IBM’s strategic initiative areas as Edge Computing, IoT, AI and Cloud

A strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Proven leadership experience working with multi-location, multicultural, and multinational teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and advanced capabilities in business productivity application

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise10+ years of experience working with Digital Business Transformation across various industries.

10+ years of consulting experience, preferably at a large consulting firm, with hands-on experience in pre-sales and delivery of large-scale business, operations, and/or technology transformation projects.

10+ years of experience leading project teams in delivering solutions to clients with overall performance
