- Have the ability to develop technical solutions and document the solution architecture and design using standard design tools.
- Demonstrate design experience and be willing to challenge other team member’s designs as well as receive and incorporate feedback.
- Be responsible for creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, Test Driven Development, static code analysis, peer/code review).
- Design, Develop and Demo application and related enhancements for an assigned squad
- Design and Develop APIs to support an application
- Design and Develop key Application Components and Supporting APIs / Events
- Create POCs to test new Tech Stacks, Synthesize Results and Champion Business Case
- Create Tests for Application Testing and API Consumption Testing
- Manage Source Control Policies and Conduct Peer Reviews to ensure Code Quality
- Create and Maintain DevSecOps Pipelines and Monitoring to ensure a secure & reliable application
- Create Architecture Design Document and Related Patterns as needed
- Design Web applications that are compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d).
- Work as part of an agile squad in breaking down requirements appropriately
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years Software Development experience required
- Extensive hands-on experience with one or more frameworks such as AngularJS, jQuery, ReactJS, and Express/Node.js
- Single Page Web Application experience – using HTML, CSS in Javascript Frameworks to create.
- Deep understanding of at least a few OWASP Top 10 Web Vulnerabilities and Solutions
- Able to show work experience in designing and deploying cloud-native applications onto AWS with PostgreSQL
- Extensive experience using SQL for creating complex queries, backups, indexing etc.
- Can create SOAP and REST Services Required and Related Transformations
- Extensive experience with automated Testing of Angular Apps and APIs using Jasmine, JMeter/SoapUI required. Experience with GIT
- Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
- Prior experience with Banking - Deposits, Loans, Payments or Financial Services
- Cloud and Container technology experience such as: Microsoft Azure Container Instances, Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, Artifactory, LXC (Linux), Hyper-V, etc.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools for CI/CD (Azure DevOps / GitHub, Maven, etc)
- Experience with SRE Concepts & Tools
- Java and Spring Boot Experience
