When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future-you’ll create it.As a Senior Software Engineering, you will be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation.Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and auditable cloud solutions.

Develop Azure migration and transformation tools, and migrate existing platforms/applications to Azure.

Automate cloud-based infrastructure deployments and manage tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.

Evaluate and recommend performance-enhancing tools, technologies, and processes with a focus on scalability, security, and availability.

Identify and resolve infrastructure deficiencies, availability gaps, and performance bottlenecks.

Serve as an escalation point for T2-T3 cloud infrastructure support and guide technical issues.

Assess the technical feasibility of business solutions and collaborate with peer organizations and product delivery teams.

Required Skills:

Azure administration skills including Terraform, VM, VMSS, AKS, Storage Accounts, and Webapp

Networking skills including Vnet, Loadbalancer , App Gateway , Firewall , and private Endpoints

Backups – Recovery service vault

Deep knowledge of Kubernetes Architecture and Troubleshooting

3 + years knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, yml, Jenkinsfile, Ansible & Python (Linux/Windows)

3 + years knowledge of CI/CD tools: Github, Azure Devops , Jenkins

3 + years knowledge of security and monitoring controls in Azure

Required Experience:

3+ years of experience in working in Engineering or Development roles in core, cloud technologies.

3+ years in depth experience with a high traffic production setting

3+ years’ experience in application migrations to cloud using native patterns.

Desired Qualifications and Skills”

Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience preferred.

Proficiency in Azure cloud technologies: Azure DevOps, VMSS, Vnet, Load balancer, Application gateway, Private Link, Azure Monitor/Application Insights, AKS, Event Hub, Database

Recognized cloud certifications: Azure Devops Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or other technology certifications.

Experience in build and CICD technologies: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus.

Strong understanding of cloud security and preventative/retrospective controls.

Experience designing, implementing, and managing monitoring solutions for production cloud environments.

Familiarity with open-source cloud-agnostic technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack, Anisible, Terraform.

Demonstrated knowledge & experience in Agile methodologies.

Comfortable with leading technical demos, adapt to rapidly changing technologies, and work collaboratively.

Our Senior Software Engineer earns between $116,700 - $196,100 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
