This established Fortune 500 Fin-Tech company is looking to add an experienced DevOps Engineer to the team on a Hybrid Basis! This role is mainly focused on infrastructure work. This company is actively interviewing and looking to hire ASAP.

THIS ROLE IS HYBRID IN DALLAS, NY or NJ! Required 2-3 days IN OFFICE.

Job Duties:

Contribute to our cloud infrastructure, strategically employing automation and infrastructure-as-code Automation of repetitive tasks Creating new infrastructure and maintaining old infrastructure will be required Building Pipelines Proactive monitoring & improve existing monitoring DevOps infrastructure code base using Power shell, Python, and C# Handle status updates and be able explain rapidly evolving, complex technical issues Triage, document, & escalate when needed product-related issues to Development Help secure infrastructure and help with security reviews Performs other related duties as required & assigned

Expectations:

Experience with AWS tools such as EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, S3 & Elastic Beanstalk Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef Strong experience with scripting languages and using them in automation (primarily Powershell and Python) understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodology metrics collection & monitoring, such as Datadog, Prometheus, New Relic Microsoft SQL Server/writing & updating SQL queries Ability to document operational processes Ability to clearly communicate technical topics
