- Architects (analyze requirements, design and prototype solutions) the company's business systems that enable the business processes
- Responsible for business process analysis, design of system configuration, design of testing and implementation of business systems to support functional goals, objectives and needs of the business area supported
- Architects "best-value" solutions that meet business needs while adhering to simplicity, business policies and procedures and leveraging current global investments and resources
- Develops knowledge of the supported business systems.
- Provides as-needed (post helpdesk or secondary) production and problem resolution support for systems in assigned area.
- Helps evaluate the business needs and prioritize them in the IT portfolio.
- Writes descriptions of user needs, functional specs and test cases.
- Assist with data conversion/migration
- Adheres to deadlines and schedules as assigned from enterprise-wide projects.
- Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Mentors and assists other functional consultants
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- 5 to 7 years of SAP experience (non-configuration)
- Practical experience dealing with IT customers
- Cross-component integration knowledge
