JOB SUMMARY

Under broad direction from leadership, plans, delegates, manages, and coordinates detailed technology portion(s) of major transition teams, including: D&T project schedules; managing D&T project teams; managing D&T scope, resources and budget; identifying issues; organizing and verifying documents; communicating project information and assuming additional responsibilities as assigned. The Sr. PM will utilize and promote PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) or Scrum as best practice, standards and guidelines for all projects. Must have a blend of people skills, methodology and process knowledge, and technical understanding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Experienced in managing multiple Scrum Teams, Scrum of Scrum, Agile Safe framework executions. Thorough understanding and knowledge of entire Agile processes

Plans, delegates, manages and coordinates work assignments for D&T project team members or other project managers/workstream owners.

Responsible for planning, performing, and managing of D&T project status, meetings, reporting, scope changes, financials, administrative, and technical issues.

Manages and communicates project scope, change management, monitors project progress /performance, and provides status reports to third-party vendors, internal D&T team members, D&T management, and business partners at all levels in the organization.

Serves as liaison between client business team and CBRE D&T. Responsible to Leadership for D&T deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and budgets.

Manages expectations of sponsors, stakeholders, and team regarding scope of work and responsibilities.

Constructs cost models and financial metrics. Manages some major projects independently.

Creates training and development plans for more junior D&T Project Managers and Coordinators.

Creates Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for external technology services.

Builds responses and presentations for RFPs and technology questions. Determines RFP D&T pricing and responds to D&T-related questions.

Creates budget and schedule presentations and ensures projects are on time and within budget.

Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower-level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as math, business, information technology, or computer science, or equivalent work experience. 5-10 years of combined business and/or D&T experience.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Scrum Master (CSM) or ITIL certification preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles using a distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management, and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take the desired action.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Experience with Microsoft Project or other Enterprise Scheduling tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Visio experience a plus.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with an in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Manages very large projects with significant dollar impact/risk, and supervises/monitors other Project Managers' efforts. May function as a Program Manager with several sub-projects reporting up to portfolio level. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
