These programs require the maturity, foresight, and tenacity of a seasoned Program Manager to ensure successful delivery.

We are looking for an excellent Technical Program Delivery Director candidate that has solid design/development and application/solution architecture and has progressed their career into strong project/program management of projects in the Data and AI/ML areas. As a Director of Technical Program Management will collaborate with business and technology product owners in crafting the program strategy and roadmap, define projects to implement, mobilize and be responsible for the execution, and plan for continuous improvement. They must possess discernment, program management experience, strong partner leadership skills, and deep knowledge of engineering, agile software development, and support processes. This position is strongly multi-functional in nature, requiring solid working relationships with multiple teams, including data analytics, user experience, marketing, research, engineering, and operations. In addition to internal constituents, this position may also work with customers and other business partners to understand market requirements to support the business. The work is often quite consultative in nature, and therefore problem-solving orientation is critical, and past professional services or consulting experience would be very valuable in this position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive the execution of various projects related to Data Science, Data Integration / Data warehousing, AI, and ML
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data scientists, and other multi-functional teams to scope programs, define landmarks and success metrics, and build scalable, secure, reliable, and efficient solutions in alignment with enterprise strategies/priorities around Data and AI/ML
  • Manage the delivery of large-scale programs; ensure that all risks and issues are properly identified, partner & customer concerns are relayed when needed, and open actions are managed to closure
  • Responsible for big-picture thinking, strategic direction, presenting to senior leadership, and partners, and holding engineering teams accountable for delivery goals
  • Metrics driven with a focus on execution, follow-through, and accountability
  • Develop various forms of written communications (e.g. status reports, Steering Committee reports, etc.); facilitate meetings with senior leaders and influences upwards and laterally to enable alignment and execution
  • Partner with product, engineering, and data science functions to align and drive prioritization, and critical decisions with partners and collaborators to deliver outcomes
  • Manage program communications with key partners at all levels to enable transparency and timely information sharing

QUALIFICATIONS

The individual must be highly entrepreneurial and a strategic problem solver who can solve today's issues as well as build processes for growth. The individual will need to be hands-on and work closely with all levels in the company, including senior management. The person needs to have:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the capacity of program management role delivery of large-scale initiatives in Data and AI/ML areas
  • At least 5 years of technical program management experience dealing with data integration/data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, Snaplogix, Other cloud offerings), AI / ML technologies, and Data Quality / Data Governance (Collibra or similar tools)
  • Solid prior technical experience in designing and implementing technology solutions using different technology stacks and solid in-depth knowledge and experience of development life cycle end-to-end
  • Previous experience in general or strategic management consulting (e.g. Accenture, McKinsey, etc.)
  • Ability to motivate team members with influence and accomplish goals
  • Proactive in identifying problems early and prioritizing work
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration skills, problem-solving, and influencing skills
  • Effectively communicate with partners at all levels
  • Self-motivated, inquisitive and quick to learn
  • Excellent program, project management, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid experience in both program/project management (Waterfall) and Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and delivery lifecycle practices
  • Drive Extensive experience using Excel, project governance tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project etc.,) and GANTT-based planning tools to drive and manage program initiatives
  • Drive, determination, and a go-getter attitude, understands how to get things done, follows up diligently, and collaborates to prioritize
