- Manage and Administer physical and virtual servers, primarily Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019.
- Support and management of server virtualization, server provisioning, physical server maintenance, security compliance and daily operations.
- Maintain server lifecycle - provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning of the hardware.
- Maintain the virtualized server environment via configuration, implementation, management and support activities
- Maintain the VMware VDI environment via configuration, implementation, management and support activities
- Maintain the security baseline compliance via configuration, implementation, and remediation activities
- Support remote offices server infra via configuration, setup, administration, maintenance and support activities
- Monitor the server infrastructure environments health status, service performance, and utilization
- Implement and maintain continuous compliance to information security policies and technical standards, report and remediation of non-compliances
- Apply regular security patches and software updates
- Tier-3 engineering support & Provide Business Continuity Support
- Core experience in Windows, Active Directory, VMware vSphere and vRealize Suite, vRealize Automation (vRA), vRealize Orchestrator (vRO), Horizon View administration in a global & heterogeneous environment.
- Experience with VMware Site Recovery Manager and storage replication technologies, designing and deploying vSphere Replication and Storage Replication Adapter (SRA).
- Good Understanding of Virtualization technology (Hyper-V and VMware)
- Experience on VMware ESXi 6.0, 6. 5, 6.7 & 7.0 vSphere.
- Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESXi & vCenter server environment.
- Good understanding of HA and DR environment.
- Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines.
- Experience and Expertise on Windows 2012, 2016, 2019, Network services Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, ADFS, Group Policies, and FTP & SFTP.
- Ability to implement AD infrastructure. Proficient in doing Recovery of AD Domain Controllers, DNS, WINS, DHCP servers.
- In-Depth knowledge of Domain Controllers replication configurations
- Good Exposure to Group Policies creation, their testing and implementation.
- Should have good knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters and Load Balancing.
- Strong in File and Print Server Management; Knowledge in Windows Security; experienced in Antivirus products
- Excellent in PowerShell scripting and task automation work with measurable outputs and operational efficiencies
- Overall knowledge and understanding on DC s, physical hardware placements, racking, cabling etc.
- Good at dealing with hardware and OEM vendors for support and troubleshooting purpose for H/W break fix and large platform/server upgrades/migration is required.
- Good at dealing and coordinating with multiple teams/stakeholders within the support structure, in order to run the daily operations smoothly
- Should have good working experience on RAID management and Array controller.
- Should have expertise in backup products & Expertise in protocol suite and command line utilities.
- Should have worked with OEM hardware (DELL/HP/UCS), & remote connectivity tools.
- Good Proficiency in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning
- Prior experience on Cloud Technologies and working in a DevOps / Agile environment will be added advantage.
