Gourmet Foods - Restaurant and Offsite Catering business are looking for an individual with solid communication and interpersonal skills to maximize sales and to provide our customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will be responsible for assisting the owner on operations. This position reports to the Owner/ Chef and works in alignment with our Chefs de Cuisine.

Responsibilities:

- assist in overseeing the entire operation to retail store appearance, drinks inventory, grab and go foods fridge and help to ensure superb product and customer service

- Role model consistent, excellent, timely attendance.

- Maintains a flexible schedule for 5 days (occasional 6) per work week.

- Develop and lead a retail sales team to provide customer service at the highest level in all areas

- Assure product delivered to customers is of optimum quality and in-stock conditions are maintained

- Responsible for selling products for special events throughout the store and community

- Works with sales personnel to generate new business and maintain current client relations

- Direct and guide store merchandising areas in the store to maximize sales

- Effectively promote services/products provided by LFK to maximize sales

- Maintain a high degree of product knowledge

- Oversee product, drink and wine ordering and inventory controls

- Catering Experience

- Ensure the highest level of quality and presentation in products and services

- Provide superlative customer service

Requirements:

- Proven leadership experience in a restaurant environment

- Passion for food

- Passion for selling

- Detail oriented

- Proficiency on the computer, internet functions, and our POS systems

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- GOOD at handling stressful situations

- Organization and planning skills

- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

- Ability to delegate effectively and compassionately

- Proven ability to develop teams

- Capable of covering positions due to sickness or occasional team members attendance issues
