We are looking for a family law paralegal to join our firm. Paralegal should be able to do the following:
- e-file documents;
- draft petitions, answers, discovery responses, motions, orders, etc.;
- call clients back and help guide them through the family law process;
- call courts and opposing parties;
- interview witnesses and gather evidence;
- assist in investigating allegations of clients;
- manage online case file, communications, case notes, and case information;
- enter time for all daily activities;
- comfortable with technology;
- organized and able to organize others;
- team player in office environment; and
- thorough understanding of Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
Education/Experience: Paralegal certificate or at least five years of on-the-job training. Must have a minimum of four years in a family law paralegal position.
