Varsity Spirit is looking for an Social Media Specialist to join our team in Memphis, TN
Make an Impact:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong marketing skills and knowledge of the cheerleading and dance industry.
A Day in the Life:
- Managing Varsity Spirit social media accounts to build our brands, build relationships with our customers, and promote key initiatives
- Managing an overall content calendar for social media campaigns across the company
- Analyzing the company’s social media strategy, identifying areas of opportunity and making recommendations for improvements
- Collaborating with the marketing department to build and execute key national marketing campaigns
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns and analyzing results
- Contributing content for websites and email marketing
- Managing and publishing relevant content to varsity.com
- Leading monthly social media meetings with social media account managers across the company
- Researching social media trends and sharing best practices
- Managing social media influencer team
- Monitoring and responding (when necessary) to comments and/or messages sent to our social media accounts
- Partnering with a third-party agency to help manage and execute elevated social media company branding and campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of Marketing, Communications or related field experience preferred
- 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand preferred
- Proficiency in current social media platforms and ability to use these platforms for effective marketing/promotions – platforms include (but are not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
