Overview:

We are seeking for a motivated, energetic, and athletic individual to join our team as an Administrator/Assistant Instructor at our Taekwondo studio. This position requires a blend of administrative duties and assisting in teaching Taekwondo classes to students of all ages and skill levels. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about martial arts, possesses strong organizational skills, thrive in a fast paced environment, and ready to immerse in a cultural heritage that Korean taekwondo represents.

Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Tasks:

- Manage front desk operations including answering phones, responding to emails, and welcoming students and parents.

- Handle student registrations and enrollments, communication, student’s file updates, and payment processing.

- Address clients’ questions or concerns.

- Maintain accurate student records and attendance.

- Assist with marketing efforts including social media updates and promotional events.

- Coordinate with instructors and management to ensure smooth studio operations.

- Process payments for tuition fees, merchandise, and other studio-related purchases.

- Maintain cash registers and ensure proper accounting of cash transactions.

- Reconcile monthly cash, check, and credit card transactions with records.

- Adhere to studio policies and procedures regarding cash handling and financial transactions to maintain integrity and security.

2. Assisting in Teaching:

- Assist head instructors, Taekwondo Masters, in teaching Taekwondo classes, focusing on proper technique, discipline, and safety.

- Provide guidance and support to students during class activities and exercises.

- Demonstrate Taekwondo techniques and forms for students.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

- Assist in organizing and supervising belt testing and other special events.

Qualifications:

- Martial arts experience is a bonus, but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Passion for martial arts and commitment to promoting its values.

- Previous administrative or customer service experience is a plus.

Schedule:

- Part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate class schedules and events. 20-30 hours a week.
