Piper Companies has been retained to identify an exceptional talent for a high-visibility role as an Associate Director of Proactive Advisory Services to join a full life-cycle information security service provider. This candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to fulfill all their assigned roles optimally. The position resides in the company's Professional Services Organization and reports directly to the Director of Professional Services.
Responsibilities of the Associate Director of Proactive Advisory Services include:- Oversee and assist in further development of our proactive service offerings and the infrastructure required to continually complete these offerings (proposals, client facing materials, and deliverable development systems)
- Manage proactive and reactive projects/engagements to ensure superior quality and delivery of products and services to clients, including:
- Posture maturity/ Gap Assessments/ Risk Assessments (NIST/ ISO/ DFS, etc.)
- Incident Response/ reactive Advisory Engagements
- Business Continuity Program/ Disaster Recovery Program Review/ Design
- Information Governance Program Design and Implementation
- Policy/ Procedures Review/ Development
- Will act as the primary point of contact for clients and own client engagements and relationships
- Develop Continuity as a Service (CaaS) offerings
- Assist with business development and sales initiates, in partnership with the sales team
- Act as company ambassador at conferences and speaking events
- 7+ years of experience leading Cybersecurity or Business Continuity teams
- Cybersecurity Certifications; including but are not limited to (CCISO, CISSP, CRISC, Security+, CISA, CBCP, MBCP, etc.)
- Effective communication, including verbal, report writing, and presentation skills
- Exceptional time management, planning, and execution skills
- College Degree in Cyber Security or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
