They have different locations: Irving, North Dallas/Plano (North of George Bush Tollway / East of DNT), Dallas (kind of by Katy Trail)
  • Must have a technical background, prefer someone who has been a developer at some point in their career
  • Must have experience leading both functional/manual QA as well as QA automation
  • Must have experience building teams or structures/frameworks from ground up
  • Must have experience delivering projects with original software development and 3rd party products
  • Must have recent people leader experience, specifically must have had direct reports and responsibility for people leader functions (hire, fire, reward, discipline); No Team Leads, this is not a role for a first-time manager
  • Must have exceptional communication/presentation skills and be able to demonstrate capability to present well to executives - talks too fast or too slow, is too verbose, is not articulate or any other impediments to being broadly understood are disqualifiers
  • Must demonstrate discernment and sense of urgency, and know how to demonstrate the right presence based on audience (e.g. know that they need to be more formal when meeting w/ executives)
  • Must have an engaging personality, fit is a big deal
    • Responsibilities: Call Notes: Managing 6-10 people Need to be a current manager NOT someone moving to a manager role Communication and Presentation skills- need to be spot on Supports entire org & Sits under PMO Building team structure and framework from the ground up Help implementing automation framework using Selenium Beginning phases, and moving to automation Test planning, requirement definition, design, execution Planning and ensuring all test phases Partner with PMO, developers, Helping with testing strategy Lead meetings & Create Budget ? Qualifications:
    • Bachelor' s degree in Business, Computer Technology or Analytical techniques required
    • Minimum 10 years proven and progressive experience with business operations or systems development or equivalent
    • Minimum 4 years' experience Technology quality assurance experience required
    • Minimum 3 years management experience
    • ASQ or ASTQB certifications preferred
    • Knowledge and understanding of IT Quality Assurance testing applications, methods and methodologies (e.g. white vs. black box testing, system vs. functional testing, regression testing, etc.)
    • Skilled in manual testing using the Microsoft Office Suite of products
    • Knowledge of standing up quality assurance systems (e.g. Selenium, Azure DevOps, HP Quality Center/Mercury Test Director, Rational Purify, Serena TeamTrack, Atlassian Jira, etc.)
    • Demonstrated successfully leading testing efforts for large and complex projects to solve significant technology-related business problems
    • Experience with various Project Management Life Cycle methodologies
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to establish strategic technical direction, translate concepts into actionable, implementation plans and identify technologies that improve productivity
