Responsibilities

The Access Management Framework and API team within Target WebPaaS (TWP) product suite is seeking a fulltime entry-level Software Developer. This team is involved in building and maintaining the frameworks used in applications to do authentication, authorization, and single sign-on capabilities within State Farm's internal clouds.

This position will be building solutions, capabilities, and automation to improve and manage the frameworks, services, and APIs utilizing software engineering principles.

Some responsibilities include:

• Applies a thorough knowledge of industry leading development skills, tools, processes, applications, environments, and programming language(s) to complete assignments

• Designs and develops full-stack applications using industry-adopted languages and frameworks

• Assists other developers on completing their assignments

• Diagnoses and resolves complex problems/issues and completes complex assignments

• Applies depth or breadth of knowledge regarding technology trends/changes, best practices, and processes to complete assignments and influence the direction of product solutions

• May take on several simultaneous work stories or focus on a single complex story

• Understands, supports, and helps define the vision and direction for the product development

Qualifications

Competitive candidates will bring the following required skills:

• Learning agility and willingness to study and adopt new technologies.

• Proficiency using Java specifically with Spring/Spring Boot experience, and/or Golang

• Ability to develop, deploy, and support solutions in an agile DevOps organization.

• Automated CI/CD

• Recent graduates with internship or other experiences are encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:

• Experience using open-source libraries

• Experience with GitOps Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience, knowledge, or certifications
