We are hiring a Welder to join our Fabrication Department.

Responsibilities:

Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities to meet deadlines. Work independently and with minimal supervision.

Read shop drawings, identify and prepare materials and supplies for fabrication.

Welders use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.

Position, align and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.

Set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.

Able to stand for long periods and lift 75 or more pounds frequently throughout the day.

Perform quality assurance post-production.

Attributes/Experience/Skills:

Organized, Prompt, Diligent, Self-Starter.

Able to communicate effectively, follow direction and exercise good judgment.

Computer skills: Excel, Word, Google Drive/Docs/Mail, etc.

Installation experience in the sign industry or construction experience with same similar tool profile.

Aluminum welding experience preferred.
