Stefanini is looking for a Java Software Engineer in Dallas, TX. About the Role:Stefanini is looking for an experienced Software Engineer/Cloud Service. In the role of Software Engineer you will help design, develop, and implement high quality technology solutions using J2EE and Cloud technologies to address business needs. You will provide end to end system development lifecycle services from requirement to implementation. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in their own discipline with broader capabilities including very strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves moderate to complex problems; takes a new perspective to solve a business or technical problem. You Will:Work with the team to implement IT solutions.Work on migrating applications from an on-premise location to the cloud service provider following enterprise patterns and best practices.Assess applications and help determine the appropriate application infrastructure patterns.Write, modify, extend code for building cloud infrastructure and automate using CI/CD pipeline.Design, Develop and Test software applications.Perform problem analysis, data analysis, reporting and communication.Provide technical assistance to resolve application issue.
Qualifications:Understanding of the development and deployment of highly distributed, fault-tolerant and resilient applications.Hands on experience with cloud services and the planning, development, migration, and integration of applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service services.Familiarity with application modernization approaches including containerization, API's, and microservices.Familiarity with the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automation.Experience with distributed version control systems.One of more cloud certifications.Extensive experience with programming on Java and Web technologies.Experience designing UI focusing on usability, security and performance.Strong database skills including the ability to design the data models.Working experience with agile development methodology, processes, and tools.Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.Exceptional skills when communicating complex business and technical concepts with the business users, development team and management.Vacancy expired!
