OverviewThe Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis will work closely with the FP&A leadership team to deliver analyses for the venue operating business. S/he will work closely with Marketing, Insights, Culinary, Operations and other departments in the organization to understand business initiatives and develop data driven strategies to deliver profitable growth.Key Responsibilities
Deliver operational insights by utilizing superior problem-solving and analytical skills to aggregate data from a variety of datasets, perform qualitative and quantitative analyses
Partner with other members of the FP&A team in the creation of annual revenue, COGS and expense plans and quarterly forecasts for the venue business
Gain a strong understanding of the venue operations in order to identify areas of improvement
Automate data collection and apply statistical analysis to venue operations
Work with complex Excel templates including complex formula, macros, algorithmic programming, pivot tables, etc.
Assist executives and teammates with the creation of presentation materials
Conduct various financial and operational analysis with little supervision
Build high quality dashboards to monitor data driven strategies
Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
Key Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Finance, Statistics, Business, or related discipline
3+ years of experience in an FP&A/Analytical position
Excellent financial modeling skills
Strong team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate and present at all levels up to executive leadership; strong experience preparing presentations for leadership teams
Experience with marketing, pricing, sales, cost of goods, and menu analysis preferred
Experience in restaurant, retail, or multi-unit business is preferred
An innovative, positive, and self-directed attitude. Interested in finding solutions to problems or methodology for improving strategic initiatives with data
Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders
Functions well under pressure; consistently pays attention to accuracy and quality of work
Strong teamwork and leadership skills required
