Job Title: Desktop Application Support Engineer

Duration: 18 months

Job Summary /

Project Details:

Need someone to assist with onboarding new applications in addition to supporting the current applications whether Java based or .NET based. Such applications as Kafka, MemSQL and PingFederate for example.

Must Haves / Required Skills:
  • 2-3+ years of hands on experience in application support/production support from a desktop perspective; NEED L2-L3 experience!
  • Must have Windows core operating system and MS Office skills
  • Experience using Splunk or Appdynamics, or Dynatrace or any other monitoring tool to do error log analysis- look at wall of data and take what is important out of it.
  • Some RCA (root cause analysis) experience
  • Previous experience with Remedy and JIRA
  • ITSM knowledge/experience
  • Need some Linux knowledge/skills
  • Able to work in a complex environment with little management oversight
