Job Description - Web Designer
Web Designer This position is responsible for the design, layout, graphical aspects, coding and technical aspects of our client's web sites. This includes how the site works, how the site looks, maintenance, updates and redesigns. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities- Accountable to maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties
- Required to attend or participate in any training sessions as requested or scheduled.
- Perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance to policies, procedures, philosophy and standards of performance.
- Research new technology, functionality and techniques to s upport marketing goals, product launches, events and adjust online approaches to achieve desired results.
- Maintain, manage and update clients websites
- Design engaging and responsive landing pages for campaigns, special events and promotions as requested.
- Conceptualize and implement creative ideas based on directives or tailored concepts to deliver unique solutions.
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET and other Windows programming technologies.
- Work with Web Programmer to maintain compliance, wellness, security and other optimal standards for all corporate or assigned websites.
- Create technical flowcharts and documentation to use during planning, developing, testing and implementation phases of website creation.
- Knowledge of full lifecycle application development .
- Work with management and staff for project and tasks outlines, outcomes and expectations.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Work with Google Analytics, CRM, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and other data gathering applications to establish reporting, trending and integration to websites and possible end user Dashboard creation.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Experience:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience.
- Education / Training:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or +3 years in related work experience.
- Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of credit union products and services.
- Welcoming and helpful demeanor.
- Object-oriented design and programming experience using systems, databases, and programming languages that develop software applications using the .Net framework.
- Knowledge of full lifecycle application development. Proficient in Visual Studio 2010 or above Proficient in IIS, Apache, DreamWeaver, Java, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, XML, C, Python, PHP, PERL.
- Experience using Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat DC is a plus.
- Possess the desire to accept additional responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of AWS Web hosting services.
- Working knowledge of public and private encryption certificates.
- Possess well-developed communication skills using tact and persuasiveness to reach an objective and maintain goodwill.
- Exhibit a highly positive, member-service oriented attitude and the ability to anticipate needs and initiate assistance beyond duties assigned.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Accuracy with numbers and attention to detail are needed.
