Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: SecretJob Family: Technical DocumentationThe Technical Writer/Editor Senior will support the following tasks or the assigned product(s) in support of the Voice Modernization (VMOD) Product Management Organization (PMO). Tasks and responsibilities in this role will include, but not limited to the following:Translate technical information into clear, concise documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.

Edit of special reports or any other deliverables and documents.

Manage multiple writing and editing assignments in a dynamic, agile systems development work environment within stated timelines.

Confirm documents conform to client-specific style, tone, and document layout standards.

Working with internal teams on processes, workflows, documentation etc.

Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program to include but not limited to CDRL completion, status reports, and metrics.

Documenting easy-to-understand SOPs and process guides.

Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.

Researches and builds knowledge about services, technology, or concepts to be documented.

Determines the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension, documents/writes, and edits technical information accordingly.

Revises, edits or updates instructions, processes, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessary.

Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.

Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage.

Research, create, and maintain process templates that uphold organizational standards, and allow for each data migration.

Assist in organizing team document repositories and ensure they are kept up-to-date.

Participates in special projects as required.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience

Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize

Self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong follow-up skills to ensure completion of tasks.

Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Strong written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

The work environment is fast paced and requires the ability to work on multiple projects at once.

Previous experience supporting Department of Defense Programs is preferred.

Familiarity with Army voice modernization programs preferred.

Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.

Knowledge of SharePoint and Teams would be a plus (will be used for repository of documentation).

Extremely proficient writing skills.
