Top 50 Company.Business Information Analyst II – TX Medicaid OpsPreferred location - TexasWork from home - must live within 40 miles of an Anthem officeResponsible for analyzing, reporting and
developing recommendations on data related to multiple, varied business
metrics.Primary duties may include, but are notlimited to:
Abilityto create and maintain databases to track business performance.
Analyzesdata and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
Developsand analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data,utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations andanomalies.
Createsand publishes periodic reports, makes necessary recommendations, and developsad hoc reports as needed.
Mayrequire taking business issues and devising in the best way to developappropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate businessrequirements into usable decision support tools.
Workingwith business partners to develop and deliver business critical data.
Abilityto maintain and execute on reporting deliverables as needed.
Mustbe able to maintain line of communication during core business hours.
Maintainand Update technical standard operation procedures, and technical businessrequirements documentation.
Requiresa BS/BA degree in related field; 2-4 years related operational and/or dataanalysis experience; experience in database structures, standard query language,and reporting tools; or any combination of education and experience, whichwould provide an equivalent background.
Thisjob is more focused on technical expertise and analysis as compared to the BusInfo Analyst I job.
Strongexperience using Microsoft Excel. (Pivot tables, Converting Raw data)
SQLKnowledge preferred using Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
Familiaritywith any SharePoint 2007-2013 environment.
Abilityto maintain open communication as a telecommuter with business partners andteam members.
Preferred Qualifications:
SharePointAdministrator and Designer Experience.
NintexExperience developing Workflows and Forms.
Experienceusing Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
Experienceusing Tableau
