The Director will have responsibility for helping launch the Blue Cross Blue Shield’s new High Performance Network program. In partnership with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and 20+ Blue plan partners, Anthem is launching a High Performance Network designed to guide members to high quality, affordable provider partners. This highly impactful role will be accountable for helping plan for the successful launch of Anthem’s 22 Blue High Performance Network markets and for contributing to Anthem’s evolving HPN program strategy to support continued improvements on core cost, quality and member experience measures. Example activities will include working on the integration of Anthem’s High Performance Network program with other client-facing clinical and member programs. Successful candidates will have a passion for transforming healthcare, strong program management skills, and the ability to work effectively across multiple matrixed shared service partners, external partners and partner BCBS plans.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:Directs the development, planning, prioritization, approval and implementation of the Blue High Performance Network program.Works closely with matrixed shared service partners to define the strategy for integration of the Blue High Performance Network with other internal and external capabilities.Establishes program governance when needed to ensure response to issue escalation; develops program budget and ensures program meets its stated objectives.Provides subject matter expertise to key internal and external stakeholders in response to day to day business issues; researches applicable subject matter practices; and remains aware of industry trends.Manages external relationships and partners.Develops communication documents and training criteria for internal and external partners (e.g. providers, clients, members).Develops documentation to support meeting presentations and the tracking and reporting of the program's success.Provides leadership to program managers and project managers.Requires a BA/BS degree; 10 + years of experience in external client facing program development and management, project management; health plan management, complex business processes, strategic and business planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Project management certification (PMP) preferred.
