Job Description1st Shift Laser Weld Repair OperatorJob Code 70183Position Title: Laser WeldLocation: Denton, TXReports To: 1st shift SupervisorShift: 1st shift Pay Grade – DP ($13.31 - $19.97)Posting Closing Date – Friday, May 31, 2019Job Summary:This position is responsible for reviewing reject or rework rings out of cast or polish and repairing as necessary using laser welding. Product assemble operations must be performed as necessary on rings and parts.Qualifications:
Must have good eye sight
Must be have good hand/eye coordination
Must be able to perform inspection functions
Must be skilled with laser welder
May sit 90 % of the work day
Must be able to wear and use necessary protective clothing and/or equipment
Must maintain equipment and area in a clean, safe condition
Must be able to work scheduled hours to include overtime
Previous experience as a laser welder preferred
