Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the PRN Clinical Educator delivers training, coaching and education for all employees to ensure regulatory compliance and quality care. The role is responsible for delivering robust education program throughout the course of employment that enables them to master and demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.This position will also assist with ensuring that new employees are oriented to hospital policies and procedures, department managers orient and adequately train the employees in their respective departments, and all employees receive on-going training and education that meets regulatory requirements. The role requires expert level computer skills and high attention to detail in order to maintain documentation and submit reports as required for compliance.Must be able to work some evening and weekends.RequirementsEducation: ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university preferred.
Required Licenses: Valid Texas RN license in good standing required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting, phone triage, tele-health or case management or combination of education and experience.
Must be 21 years old or older.
