Tyler Building Systems, a manufacturer of metal building systems, is seeking candidates for a full-time metal building estimator position at its main office in Tyler, TX. Prior industry experience is a bonus but is not required. Position involves generating pricing for metal building systems and building installation using industry-specific software and company-specific spreadsheets.
Position requires basic math skills. Higher math (calculus, algebra, etc.) is not required for the job but an Estimator is always dealing with weights, lengths, dollars, etc. Familiarity and comfort with working with computers is a must. A working knowledge of general business software (e.g., Word, Excel and Outlook) is required.
Successful Estimators tend to be detail oriented, multi-taskers, problem solvers, and eager to learn.
