KWNS-FM 104.7 is seeking a full or part-time radio sales associate. Our music format is Christian music, specifically Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, and Country Gospel. Your role will vary, but essentially you will selling media space or "airtime" to advertisers. This is a commission only position which will be discussed in greater detail during the interview.
Job Description
Sell advertising air time to current and potential customers
Prepare and present presentations to customers and potential customers
Represent KWNS proudly and professionally to the retail community
Create effective promotions and participate in community events
Create effective and result-oriented campaigns for KWNS clients
Qualifications
Previous radio sales experience preferred
Experience/knowledge of radio broadcasting helpful
Strong sales and marketing skills
Strong public relations skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Efficient and organized time manager
Take initiative toward solving problems and recommending creative advertising solutions
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work outside normal 9:30AM-5:30PM business hours for sales and follow up if needed
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to drive up to 60 miles to meet with potential clients
